Sanctuary Homes has been selected by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) as one of its chosen organisations to help public sector bodies build new homes on their land more quickly and cheaply.

The Delivery Partner Panel (DPP3) consists of leading national and regional housing developers and contractors and is available for use free of charge to a wide range of public bodies, including central government departments, NHS Trusts and local authorities. It provides a simple and speedy procurement route for public sector organisations to appoint a partner for a range of activities, including the development and disposal of sites for residential use and the construction, marketing and sales of new homes.

DPP3 will run for 4 years and replaces the previous panels, which have so far delivered over 43,500 homes over 7 years.

HCA Chief Executive Nick Walkley said: “We hope as many local authorities and public bodies as possible use our improved Delivery Partner Panel to increase the pace of construction of new homes, while saving time, effort and costs.”

Peter Martin, development director at Sanctuary, said: “Sanctuary Group has ambitious plans to build over 30,000 homes by 2027. Our inclusion on the Delivery Partner Panel will provide us with additional opportunities to secure land for new developments across the country and help meet the targets set out in our business plan.”
