Sanctuary Homes has purchased land at Millbrook Park in north London to develop over 100 new homes for sale and for rent. The site of the former Inglis Barracks in Mill Hill, which was previously home to the Middlesex Regiment and the Royal Engineers Courier and Postal Service, will eventually provide over 2,200 new homes in total.

Sanctuary will construct a variety of homes at Millbrook Park, including 3-storey townhouses and apartments, as well as creating new landscaped public areas. All houses will have their own private garden and parking spaces while all apartments will be provided with balconies or terraces. The design cleverly uses the changes in site levels to incorporate underground car parking for the apartments and to maximise the landscaped areas and public amenity space. The first homes will be available for sale or rental in 2019.

Janet Mussington, Sanctuary’s head of development in London, said: “We are very pleased to be a part of the exciting development at Millbrook Park. Our range of new homes will complement those of other housebuilders and, along with the community facilities that have already been created, such as the new Millbrook Park Primary School and the Officers’ Mess Gardens, will help Millbrook Park develop into a thriving, sustainable community".
